Our Christmas Stay-cation has begun.

I left work early on Friday and actually got home before anyone else! It was still LIGHT outside…so I took the boys for a walk. We saw Christmas lights and walked up to Grandma & Grandpa’s house. And then we watched ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ — one of my childhood favorites

Saturday was filled with puzzles, trains, shopping, firetruck rides and coffee breaks.

Bike riding and neighbor visits, too.

We are trying to get all the last minute Christmas stuff done, food prepared, and gifts wrapped. We are ALL looking forward to the next two days.

AND for 11 days — the boys will ask me “Mama, are you going to work today?” And I get to answer “NO!!” (Well, no I don’t have to go to the office — which is good enough for them!)
