Gold Medalist
April 23, 2012 Nicholas 1 CommentThis past Friday was the very last day of gymnastics for Nicholas (at preschool). The parents were invited to watch the class and then eat lunch with the kids.
Nicholas DID NOT want to participate in the class — he saw me, and wanted to be with me. I finally told him that I would have to leave if he didn’t listen to the teacher and do the exercises.
They have done such a great job of organizing a little “gym” in the Fellowship Hall. I was tempted to run the Obstacle Course!
And — at the very end of class, each child received a GOLD Medal! Nicholas was very excited.
After lunch (and probably to kill time and burn more energy), they played a parachute game.
I know that Nicholas learned quite a bit during his time in Gymnastics. Over the weeks, he would tell us what he had learned and show us his “tricks” – super cute. I am SO glad that he gets to do all of these fun things…that is what being 4 is ALL about
