Westport and Friends

We worked out a stop in Westport, WA to visit our friends (they also live in San Diego, but were vacationing in WA the same time that we were driving through).  NCL LOVED all the kid interaction while we were there.  New toys, walks to the beach and campfires in the front yard.

Samantha and Nicholas have a “moment” (and yes, that is “bed head” for NCL)

Yup…the beach was cold and windy — on the first night.

The little town of Westport was having a “Pirate’s Daze” celebration the weekend we were there.

The only Pirate attire NCL had was this little shark/pirate shirt.

We bought NCL a little wooden pirate sword while we were there and he seems to really like it. Just have to be careful around the baby!

We left Westport on Saturday night and drove to Astoria (almost). We stopped at the rest stop on the bay — this was the view before we went to bed.

And when we woke up in the morning…it was time to visit ASTORIA, OREGON!  I was so excited!
