Buffalo Days..so far..

11:35 am Family, Nicholas

We are having a GREAT time in Buffalo. Not only is it super fun to see all our family back here, but I think the key to a our GREAT trip so far is the fact that we must have done a “kid-swap” before we left San Diego. Nicholas has been FANTASTIC – in every way.  He has slept really well (in a pack-n-play, no less) – only getting up a few times on a few nights – for a drink of water, or maybe a bad dream.  His naps have ranged from 2 to 3 HOURS! Joe actually woke NCL up yesterday after 3 hours.

He is also eating very well (he must know he is in Buffalo) – because he was not eating very well the few weeks in San Diego. And, finally – he has behaved nearly the whole time we have been here!  We are loving it.

On Sunday morning, we went to Chuck and Angie’s church (Joe’s cousins) – but before we left, Auntie Meg and NCL played on the race car rug for a little while.

We always have to bundle up when it’s time to go anywhere – NCL is finally getting used to his hat and coat (being that he really hasn’t ever worn either).

After church, we went to “Uncle Joe’s” for breakfast. NCL got to have a little “coffee” (mostly cream).

Of course, we eat plenty while we are back here.  This is Angie (Joe’s cousin) in her brand new kitchen (it’s beautiful).

NCL has really enjoyed his baths. Joe’s cousin Mary found a really cool basketball hoop for the tub – it worked out great because I have been wanting to get one for NCL to play with in the bathtub.

After the boy went to bed, it was time for a little Wii action (or lack of “action” – ha ha).

And finally – yesterday – NCL was really into the Thomas the Train DVD that cousin Mary bought for him. As he calls it “Gee Gee Bew” (Blue Train)
