*PW = Pregnancy Week

Yup – 17 weeks pregnant (as of yesterday), which equates to approx. 4 months. I am finding it hard to believe that the half-way point is only 3 weeks away AND our big ultrasound is only 2 weeks away! Yahoo! I can’t wait.

Above, I chose one of the 7 pictures taken by one of my co-workers, over the course of 2 days.  I had my camera in my purse twice this week and figured (while I was thinking about it), I would have a picture taken for the blog.  Well, I didn’t like the first 3 pictures on the first day (you know, it totally makes a difference where the camera person stands!) The picture above is the 4th picture from day 1. On Day 2, I had 2-3 pictures taken – I didn’t like any of them.

So, I selected the picture that made me look the “smallest” — ha ha. I actually think that the picture above makes my belly look a little smaller than the last picture I posted..what do you think?

Here is the update:  I think the question I get the most right now is “Do you notice a difference in this pregnancy?” and when I say yes, most people say “Oh, then maybe it’s a girl!”

Yes, this pregnancy has been different.  I have felt from the beginning that this was a girl..I have NO idea why. And, honestly, I really don’t care.  I guess it’s kind of the same thing as last time. I was scared to have a boy – so I spent a long time “preparing” myself to have a boy. And, we only had a boy name picked out last time.  This time, I keep thinking that it would be easier to have a boy, since we have all the clothes, toys, etc.  However, we do NOT have a name picked out – for either sex.  Hopefully, we will do a better job on having TWO names by the time April rolls around.

I have been VERY hungry this week.  Based on all the pregnancy reports and the “week by week” guidelines — the baby is currently doubling in size (between the 16th week and the 20th week) – so I guess that might explain why I have been so hungry.

Feeling the baby move has been a highlight – but it’s only been internal. I am hoping Joe will be able to feel it pretty soon. It’s always so awesome when the Dads can feel the baby – helps them to feel apart of the experience, I think.

No more sickness! I have been feeling normal for a few weeks now – once I got past the 14th week – things really got better.

No acid reflux..yet.  I have a feeling it’s going to start anytime though. I really don’t look forward to that. And I know how bad it will get at the end.  That was SO painful the last time.

I feel like there was more I was going to say…but, I am drawing a blank.  Time for Family Movie Night…I bet you can guess what Nicholas picked to watch…….Nemo, here I come.
