I wanted to post a few more pictures from NCL’s first birthday party.  We had a number of cameras snapping pictures, and some of them are really good!  Here is the little man: Pre-Party (but right after Grandma dropped off balloons. NCL was in heaven, he LOVES balloons).

Mom: “Hey Nicholas, are you excited to turn 1 and celebrate your birthday with all your friends and family?”

Nicholas: “uhm….let’s get to the point here…Where is that CAKE you promised me on my birthday…I am ready….now!”

Does anyone remember the 11+ pound baby that was born in January?

So, I wanted to make NCL’s birthday party fun for the adults (since the kids could care less what was going on).  And what is more fun that a GAME! (I know, I am obsessed with games).  Here is Jennifer playing the game:

The game was “Guess His Growth.”   I posted 13 pictures of Nicholas on a board - each picture represented a different month of his life (birth - 12 months). Everyone had a chance to arrange the pictures in chronological order.  The winner, by a LANDSLIDE, was Joe’s sister, Meg.  She got 9 right! The one who takes amazing pictures, also pays attention to her subject

Hey Julia….it’s time to sing “Happy Birthday” to Nicholas….”Do I have to?”

(Julia is exactly 1 month older than Nicholas….and she is also the woman that inspired NCL to walk when she was over playing one day).

He loved that cupcake cake….
