Growing Love

7:50 pm Elizabeth, Nicholas

It sure will be hard to leave the house tomorrow..and start the new job…especially after this:

You might look at this picture and say “what is so special about this?” Well, if any of you know Nicholas…you know that he DOES NOT fall asleep on a person’s shoulder.  I think he did a few times when he was a newborn, but it just doesn’t happen anymore.  The other day, I had finished giving him breakfast and he seemed really whiny. I picked him up and put him over my shoulder (he usually throws a fit when I do that)…but this time, he just closed his eyes and went to sleep.  I sat down in the rocking chair and just held him for 20 minutes.  I didn’t want to put him down.  It was a little piece of Heaven..no doubt. I cherished every single minute…and Joe finally came in the room to see why it was so quiet. When he saw this, he had to grab the camera.  I will love this picture forever.

Our little baby is turning into a little boy…right before our eyes!

Note: I am sure the posts to the website will slow down significantly going forward, given the time I will be away from my computer.  I will do my best, but can’t promise anything.

Wish me luck!! ……….. and also, wish Joe luck.  Once again, he will be home (all day) with the little dude.  Hopefully, we will be able to find some help soon, so he can get back to working!

Wow! He is growing so fast. I can’t believe how big Nicholas looks lying there on your shoulder. Good luck tomorrow! Life is full of new adventures and I am sure you will tackle this one just fine. You are in my prayers.

Oh my goodness he is getting so big. Even in the last few weeks. Great shot Joe.
